I a also playing this for my senior recital. I'm playing the marimba part and my friend is playing the clarinet part. It is very technically challenging, but I enjoy it. Are there any program notes on this piece?

I just had the great pleasure of studying with Osnat Netzer at the Walden School "Creative Musicians Retreat," which is why I tracked down this recording. What a beautiful performance of a fascinating piece! My daughter is a very good marimbist (but is not majoring in music) so I am used to lots of 4-mallet work; really interested to hear such an involved and thoroughly satisfying 2-mallet piece for a change.

I know this sounds silly but Which is the oboe? It looks like two flutes one small and another alto. Wait no something else appeared that could be a clarinet and is probably an oboe

If you needed to perform on uneven terrain would a xylophone be portable?

I would love the sheet music for this! I play both flute and oboe, so this would be so fun to learn! I learned how to play Moschet Manor on my own but thankfully that was easy enough to figure out.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this whole suite! I think stuff like this can create some great new textures on the instrument, and this movement is awesome!. (I hope this is helpful and not too picky: The low end is sounding really quiet and a bit odd to me, might want to re-balance things)
